We let our Sirius subscription lapse after the free trial. After a month or 6 weeks the price they were offering was about half of the original renewal rate, just to get us back. I plan to try this same technique again this year. I do love driving with my windows rolled down, blasting 80s music and pretending I'm in high school, but I can go a month without it in order to pay a lot less for it.

That's gonna be a great vacation!!

Don't give up on the cruise just yet. With the mishaps they have had lately, it's the safest time to cruise (you like, right after an airplane crash?) they are hyper vigilant and since you are closer to FLA - you could take one out of there and stay on the Caribbean side which is warmer, prettier and safer. And the patch? SOLID. LEGIT.

For now though, happy 20th and can't wait to hear about it when you're back!

That sounds awesome! We're also coming up on the big 20 in July and we've decided to go to the San Juan Islands and stay at a B&B for a few days. We're even going to let the kids go solo. We figure we'll have an 18 year old, right? Besides, we'll be close enough that we could get home in a few hours if need be. But I don't know maybe that's crazy. The kids seem to think they'd be just fine.

Thanks for the reminder of my silly actions during my short stint as the music leader in that ward. I had so much fun there. And I do remember you from our book club. You recommended that Russian Kitchen Boy book that will be forever burned in my brain, and I will never think about Rasputin the same way again. Hope all is well with the Baldwins!
