That's What I'm Talkin' About

Okay, so I have been meaning to post this for some time. However 2 things were blocking me. I didn't want people feeling jealous (esp my friends still stuck in Korea), and I couldn't get a good picture. Too lazy to go outside and take one myself, and not technical enough to access the picture sent to me before we decided to take the house. Troy helped me with the technical part this morning. He is so smart. He got home safe and sound at 11:11 on my November 11th birthday last night-pretty awesome. Okay so it was really 11:10, but 11:11 sounds better.

Anyways, back to the house photo- it is so nice to have this home and especially the back yard. After 2 years with no back yard this is feeling pretty good indeed!

Perhaps one of the greatest "perks" of blogging is the ability to nosie your way around to find old friends and family. In short, I am glad you commented on Cami's blog. It has been some time since we have heard from your family.
Your house and yard looks beautiful. When I see pictures of your beautiful home and yard, it makes me feel like our little house and small lot is like "cracker jack box" living.
Every time I check out the news, Iowa is right there...front and center the last year or so with the presidential campaigning. How do you like all of the national publicity for your state?
Ok, that is probably enough writing for a first comment. It is fun to see you and your family are doing well.

I agree with Zach and Nikki about the perk of blogging is a way to connect with old friends and family. I was thrilled to see your comment on our blog page. I heard through the grape vine that you had a blog, but I did not know the address, so it is fun to check up on it now.
Your home is beautiful and the grass is so green! Your kids are adorable as well.

Well, I'm agreeing with your other friends (even though I don't know them--hee-hee) I love finding old friends and staying in touch! We love your house! I'm glad you posted it. I am jealous of the yard....although....when it comes time for mowing and taking care of it....I'm not really that jealous! It's good for working the boys though.

WOW! I should have posted a picture of the house sooner. I think 4 comment is some kind of record for my poor unread blog. I don't look at it for days and look what happened- I am behind on getting back to people. Thanks for the birthday greeting Melinda. I always read (but rarely comment sorry) your fun blog. Hey Nikki and Zach, nice of you to drop by. I have been having fun catching up with you and the other Hills kids. I was, at one time long ago, the favored aunt. Those were the days. Hey Julie! LOVE your blog as well, and Troy is already asking me to make that soup again. Tonight I am baking bran muffins at 10:30pm for my VT appointment tomorrow. If I like them I will have to post the recipe...

Thanks for all the comments

Oh- and one more thing to Julie. This lawn takes almost 2 hours to mow! So we opted for the yard care cost included in our rent and we have the bishop's son mow our lawn for a fee that is sooo worth it to us :)
